What does "parts" mean on the dilution chart?
What else can I use Oil Eater on besides my driveway?
Use Oil Eater on:
Concrete, asphalt, fabric, vinyl, plastic, rubber, stainless steel, metal, fiberglass, porcelain, wood, ceramic, granite, marble, painted and coated surfaces.
To Clean:
Oil, grease, carbon, ink, marker, food stains (ketchup, mustard, salad dressing, sauces, baby formula, etc.), wine, coffee, tea, juice, blood, urine, pet stains, tree sap, bird droppings, soot, cigarette & cigar smoke and black streaks.
From:
Driveways, garage floors, walls, carpet, upholstery, ceilings, ceramic, quarry & tile floors, no wax floors, baseboards, entrance mats, clothing, shoes, grills, ovens, stove tops & hoods, patio furniture, brick pavers, vinyl, & aluminum siding, decks, trash cans, refrigerators, freezers, lawn mowers, lawn & garden equipment, sports uniforms & equipment, pool decks & filters, fans, blinds, cupboards, countertops, tubs, showers, sinks, toilets, fireplaces, boats, RV’s, ATV’s, snowmobiles, motorcycles, bicycles, engines, tires, floor mats, dash boards, etc.
Using a:
Pressure washer, towel, brush, broom, garden hose, pump-up sprayer, foam gun, sponge, paper towel.
Can I Use Oil Eater in my laundry?
Yes! Oil Eater works best as a prespot. Saturate the stain with Oil Eater full strength & wash as normal.
What about using Oil Eater on set in stains?
Saturate the stain with Oil Eater full strength. If possible keep the stain submerged in Oil Eater. Allow 2-3 hours soaking time. For best results don’t allow to dry. Wash as normal.
Will Oil Eater kill my grass or plants?
Our experience shows that Oil Eater will not kill grass or plants.
Can I use Oil Eater in my parts washer?
Yes! Oil Eater makes an excellent parts solution. In tank style parts washers, mix 3 parts water to 1 part Oil Eater. In dip tanks & ultrasonic parts washers, mix 25 parts water to 1 part Oil Eater.
In spray cabinet washers, mix 70 parts water to 1 part Oil Eater.
Can Oil Eater be heated?
Yes! Oil Eater can be heated up to 200 degrees F.

Things to Remember when Using Oil Eater® Cleaners & Degreasers
- Always use on a cool surface
- Always spot test in an inconspicuous area on any surface before use
- The less porous the surface is (i.e. no wax floors vs. uncoated concrete) the more diluted Oil Eater should be
- If the surface feels a little slippery after rinsing, add more water to your solution
Please Note: A part is whatever your unit of measure is. For example: If you were measuring in ounces, 3 parts water to 1 part Oil Eater would be – 3 ounces of water to 1 ounce of Oil Eater.
