Quickly contain spills from oil leaks, chemical spills, liquid fluids, organic liquids, food spills and more. Control the spill to keep areas safe and save time cleaning up by selecting the right products.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
Instructions:
First, identify the spill. For Oil spills, chemical spills, grease or automotive fluids, we recommend the Rapid Clean Absorbent to quickly contain any liquid. Keep the space safe by displaying a wet floor sign or some other indication that a spill is present. If there is an unknown chemical or flammable spill, find a plant manager that can advise on safety protocols. Ask for Safety Data Sheets of the chemical that has spilled to ensure appropriate measures are taken. An example of what a Safety Data Sheet looks like can be found here for Oil Eater products.
If the spill is ongoing or there is an active leak, use Absorbent Socks to contain the area and prevent the fluid from spreading.
Absorb as much of the spill as you can using the absorbents. Make sure to follow federal, state & local regulations when disposing of hazardous liquids – as absorbents take on the hazardous properties of the liquids they absorb. If using Rapid Clean, cover the surface with the Corn Cob absorbent and mix in using a broom. Allow the product enough time to absorb the liquid, usually within a few minutes. Sweep the absorbed Rapid Clean into a dustpan for proper disposal.
For porous surfaces like concrete floors, there may be some liquid still on the surface. Use degreaser to clean the remaining grease and oil and use absorbent pads as a durable cleaning rag. If there are set-in stains, try Overnight Stain Remover to remove the leftover oil.
